Sunday, October 26th

With Fiorentina down in the relegation zone after a nightmare start to the season, they will be desperate for a response in the second period.

18:30 CET - A Micky van de Ven brace sees Tottenham go into half-time 2-0 up at Everton and well on course to get their league campaign back on track.

Follow the second period here.

18:20 CET - A huge El Clasico victory for Real Madrid to extend their lead at the top of LaLiga to five points!

Barcelona were much better in the second half but Real continued to cause a threat on the counter in what was a breathless clash from start to finish.

A late Pedri red card rubbed salt in the wound for Hansi Flick's men, resulting in chaos on the touchline as tempers flared.

It is hard to argue against Real winning, on the day they were the better side and deserved to beat their bitter rivals. Xabi Alonso's first El Clasico ends in triumph.

Angers 1-0 Lorient

17:40 CET - Next up in Serie A, struggling Fiorentina host high-flying Bologna with the hope of moving out of the relegation zone. Bologna, meanwhile, have ambitions of moving into the top four.

17:33 CET - A huge moment in the El Clasico!

Real Madrid were awarded a controversial penalty after VAR recommended the referee to overturn his decision. However, Kylian Mbappe's resulting penalty was brilliantly saved by stand-in keeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Heroic save and perhaps some poetic justice for what looked like a very harsh penalty.

17:26 CET - Bayer Leverkusen have bounced back from their mid-week humiliation against PSG with a 2-0 win at home to Freiburg that moves up to fourth.

17:10 CET - Wow. What a half of football that was. The visitors had more of the ball, but the hosts were the more threatening side.

Real Madrid lead Barcelona 2-1 at the break.

17:04 CET - Another goal in the Spanish capital! Jude Bellingham has tapped in to restore Los Blancos' lead!

16:57 CET - Fermin Lopez levels things up! The Spaniard has scored his fourth goal of the week, firing in a ball across the box from Marcus Rashford

In England meanwhile, Arsenal have won again and are now four points clear with Man City losing to Aston Villa. Thanks to their win against Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth are now second!

16:53 CET - A hat-trick from Ismael Saibari has given them a dramatic 3-2 win away to title rivals Feyenoord, who they're now level on points with.

Roma have also gone joint-top of their league after seeing out a 1-0 win against Sassuolo.

16:40 CET - Mbappe scores again and this time it counts! The forward runs onto a through ball from Jude Bellingham and keeps his cool to give the hosts the lead!

16:29 CET - VAR intervenes again! Kylian Mbappe thought he opened the scoring with a stunning effort from well outside the box, but it's been ruled out for offside.

16:25 CET - A dramatic start at the Bernabeu! It looked as if Lamine Yamal had given away a penalty after just two minutes for a foul on Vinicius Junior, but VAR have overturned the decision.

16:18 CET - El Clasico is underway! Who will come out on top in arguably the biggest match-up in football? Let's find out!

15:57 CET - Bayer Leverkusen have taken the lead against Freiburg courtesy of a lovely effort from young winger Ernest Poku.

15:52 CET - These are the half-time scores in the Premier League:

It's hardly been a thriller at the Emirates, where the first half produced an xG of just 0.20, the lowest of the first half of any Premier League match so far this season.

15:41 CET - Eberechi Eze has put Arsenal ahead at Selhurst Park, scoring against his former club just before half-time with a great volley.

As always seems to be the case with the Gunners these days, the goal came from a set-piece.

15:30 CET - Paulo Dybala has given Roma the lead against Sassuolo, reaching 50 goal contributions for the club in Serie A in the process.

15:25 CET - Man City have gone behind in Birmingham, with Matty Cash scoring a stunner for Aston Villa, while Nottingham Forest are trailing Bournemouth in their first league match under Sean Dyche.

15:01 CET - The lineups are in for El Clasico, with Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski among those missing for Barcelona through injury, and Xabi Alonso bringing Eduardo Camavinga in for Brahim Diaz.

14:55 CET - Hearts have claimed a massive win against Celtic, prevailing 3-1 to very much put themselves in the driving seat in the Scottish title fight. Is the decades-long dominance of Glasgow's two giants about to end?

14:16 CET - Thanks to three goals in the space of seven minutes, Ajax have beaten FC Twente 3-2 in the Netherlands to move up to third.

Torino also staged a comeback, with a 90th-minute goal from Guillermo Maripan giving them a 2-1 win against Genoa, who remain bottom of Serie A as a result.

14:04 CET - Arsenal and Manchester City will both be looking to take advantage of yet another loss for Liverpool last night, but in Crystal Palace and Aston Villa, they're both facing tricky opponents.

13:35 CET - The lineups are in for the biggest match of the season yet in the Netherlands, with league leaders Feyenoord hosting reigning champions PSV.

PSV make one change from their stunning 6-2 win over Napoli, with Sergino Dest replacing Ryan Flamingo, while Feyenoord boss Robin van Persie has opted to drop captain Sem Steijn.

Three points separate the Rotterdam and Eindhoven sides heading into the clash.

13:32 CET - Genoa are leading Torino 1-0 at the break, putting them 45 minutes away from claiming their first win of the Serie A season.

13:12 CET - There's been a dramatic start to what is a huge game between the league's top two in Scotland, with Hearts taking the lead in the eighth minute and Celtic equalising in the 12th.

A win for Hearts would put them eight points clear in top spot as they seek to become the first side other than Celtic or Rangers to win the league since 1985.

12:30 CET - Today's action in the big leagues is now underway, with Ajax 1-0 down in the opening stages of their clash with FC Twente and Torino kicking off against Genoa.

11:50 CET - Good morning and welcome back to our Football Tracker as we look ahead to a mouthwatering Sunday across Europe!

23:10 CET - Wow, wow, wow. A breathless end to the game in London and Brentford have held on to an incredible 3-2 win at home to the champions. Mohamed Salah scored a world-class goal to bring Liverpool back into the game late on but it was too little too late for Slot's men who lost their fourth game in a row in the Premier League. Crisis?

Check out the match summary here.

23:03 CET - A setback for Marseille in Ligue 1 meanwhile, as a Benjamin Pavard own goal early in the second half would prove the decisive goal as hosts Lens held on to win 2-1.

22:58 CET - The final game of the day in LaLiga has come to an end as Villarreal scored a goal either side of half-time to win in Valencia.

Villarreal move into the LaLiga top three with that big away win!

21:50 CET - An astonishing first-half at the Gtech Stadium as Brentford lead Liverpool 2-1 in a 45 minutes that had a bit of everything. Liverpool's defensive woes continued for much of the first half as an early Brentford long throw resulted in a Dango Ouattara goal.

Brentford incredibly doubled their lead in the 45th minute after an inch-perfect Mikkel Damsgaard through ball was finished with aplomb by Kevin Schade to put the hosts into dreamland.

However, out of nowhere, Liverpool had one back, controversially scoring well beyond the time added on to the anguish of the home supporters. Still, Brentford lead and the onus is on Arne Slot's men to produce a comeback, or their title challenge could derail even further.

21:00 CET - The final match in Ligue 1 this evening is underway as second-placed and impressive-looking Marseille travel to a Lens side who are full of confidence themselves after a good start to the season.
