San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Justin Verland surpassed franchise legend Gaylord Perry for the most strikeouts in MLB history - moving up to 8th!

12. Byron Buxton makes history

Minnesota Twins star veteran Byron Buxton became the second player in the history of the franchise to put up at least 30 home runs and 20 stolen bases in a single season, joining the legendary Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett!

Another week, another highlight of Chicago Cubs centerfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong making a sliding catch!

10. Ceddanne Rafaela 'Catch of the Year' candidate

Boston Red Sox centerfielder Ceddanne Rafaela just threw his name in the running for the 2025 'Catch of the Year' with this insane home run robbery!

9. Samuel Basallo walk-off

The Baltimore Orioles rookie catcher continues to make his presence felt after he launched his first-ever MLB walk-off home run!

8. Seattle Mariners put up a season-high 18 runs

The Mariners became the sixth team this season to put up 18 runs in a single game - also marking their season high.

Nine of their batters had at least two hits, while six came home to score a run at least twice.

7. Aroldis Chapman 4 Ks in one inning

Yes, you read that right. Boston Red Sox reliever Aroldis Chapman struck out four guys in one inning!

He has now faced 50 straight batters without allowing a single hit and hasn't given up a run in 17 straight innings of work.

6. Bobby Witt Jr. diving play again

The star shortstop of the Kansas City Royals is back again making incredible diving plays. But this week's went to another level!

5. Ramon 'home run robbery' Laureano

Okay, I'm sure anyone could come up with a better middle name for the San Diego Padres outfielder. But he deserves something of the sort as he continues to rob home runs left and right since being traded back in July!

4. Elly De La Cruz double play

A 360 line drive snag turned into a diving double play? De La Cruz knows how to entertain baseball fans!

3. Air Friedl

Keeping it in on the same team, Cincinnati Reds centerfielder T.J. Friedl robbed this home run with some style as he activated the springs in his cleats!

2. Mason Miller's immaculate inning

San Diego Padres relief pitcher Mason Miller became just the second pitcher in the franchise's history to throw an immaculate inning. The first? Brian Lawrence in 2002...against the Orioles.

But what's even more amazing is that Miller did it all on one pitch - his nasty slider!

1. Baltimore Orioles' insane walk-off

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto had a no-hitter going into the ninth inning against the Orioles. He would've become the first pitcher this season to throw a no-hitter.

But the following chaos ensued and the Orioles won the game. And what makes it even better? On the 30th Anniversary of Cal Ripken Jr. breaking the MLB record for most consecutive games played (2131).
