Elmer Moller on Tuesday recorded one of the biggest wins of his career when he won 7-6, 0-6, 6-4 against the Argentinian Roman Andres Burruchaga in the ATP 250 tournament Chile Open to book his ticket for the second round.

For the first time in six months, Elmer Moller appeared in a main tournament on the ATP Tour on Tuesday, with great success.

In the first round of the ATP 250 tournament, Chile Open, the 22-year-old tennis player won against the Argentinian Roman Andres Burruchaga and booked his ticket to the second round.

However, it certainly wasn't an easy win for Elmer Moller. After winning the first set, the Dane was taken apart in the second set by Roman Andres Burruchaga.

But Elmer Moller recovered, broke the Argentine's serve three times in the third set, and won 7-6, 0-6, 6-4.

In general, the match was characterized by two players finding it incredibly difficult to hold serve. There were a total of 14 service breaks in the match.

The Argentine recorded most service breakthroughs to emphasize that Elmer Moller still has a lot to work on when it comes to his service game.

In Tuesday's match, however, the Dane managed to break the opponent's serve at the right times, and Elmer Moller can now look forward to facing the first-seeded Argentine Francisco Cerúndolo, who is ranked 19th in the world.

Elmer Moller's last appearance on the men's top-ranked tour was at the end of August, when he crashed out of the US Open in the first round.

Since the US Open, he has mainly played Challenger tournaments - the level just below the ATP Tour. He won a tournament in Portugal in November on the Challenger Tour, but has otherwise had difficulty achieving good results.

In January, he attempted to qualify for the Australian Open, but failed to reach the main tournament.
