There are only eight players left on each side at the 2025 French Open and the quarter-finals will get going today! This is your one-stop shop for all the news and results.

23:44 CET - Four quarter-finals down, four to go.

Each of the clashes today was unsurprisingly won by the higher-ranked player, but two of tomorrow's matches are much more difficult to predict, with American stars Madison Keys and Coco Gauff doing battle to get the day started and Novak Djokovic facing Alexander Zverev in the evening.

They may take place on either side of two match-ups that Jannik Sinner and Mirra Andreeva are heavy favourites for, but Alexander Bublik and home hero Lois Boisson have already pulled off some upsets to get to this stage, so never say never.

The action will begin at 11:00 CET and we'll be getting our coverage started a few hours earlier, see you then!

22:13 CET - Carlos Alcaraz moves one step closer to defending his French Open title, with the Spaniard beating Tommy Paul 6-0, 6-1, 6-4 in just over 90 minutes.

That was one of the Spaniard's best performances of the season, and his reward is a semi-final meeting with Lorenzo Musetti in a repeat of the Monte Carlo final and Rome semi-final - Alcaraz won both.

21:11 CET - Wow. Alcaraz has taken the first set 6-0 in 39 minutes. That's some start from the defending champion.

20:24 CET - The last quarter-final of the day, between Tommy Paul and Carlos Alcaraz, is about to get underway. The two are familiar foes having met six times, and the Spaniard leads their H2H 4-2.

Their last meeting came at Roland Garros during the Olympics last summer.

18:28 CET - Lorenzo Musetti has beaten Frances Tiafoe 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 to move into the French Open sem-finals!

The Italian eighth seed had to battle to victory in just under three hours but managed to get the job done in four sets and becomes the first man into the final four in Paris - his first Grand Slam semi.

He will next face the winner of Tommy Paul and Carlos Alcaraz, who face off later.

15:17 CET - Swiatek is into the final four once again, with the Pole securing a 6-1, 7-5 win against Svitolina to set up a mouthwatering clash with Sabalenka.

14:20 CET - Things are looking good for reigning champion Iga Swiatek, who leads Elina Svitolina 6-1 after 44 minutes.

13:13 CET - For just the second time in her career, Aryna Sabalenka is a French Open semi-finalist!

The world number one has claimed an excellent win, beating Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen 7-6, 6-3 in a two-hour battle to move into the final four.

Zheng was on a 10-match winning streak at Roland Garros, so that really is an impressive result for Sabalenka.
