Only three points separate the top three teams in the Veikkausliiga with four rounds to go, as Inter Turku and SJK made full use of their games in hand over leaders KuPS with wins over Gnistan and HJK, respectively.

SJK are the form team in the Championship Group with four wins in a row after they came from behind in added time for a dramatic 4-3 win away at HJK, whose dismal run of form continues.

The visitors took the lead 12 minutes in when Lauri Laine beat the onrushing goalkeeper Elmo Henriksson to the loose ball, allowing Jeremiah Streng to toll it into an empty net. But just seven minutes on, HJK were level thanks to a bullet header from Benji Michel.

Parity lasted just eight minutes as the Seinajoki side went back in front - again Laine was the architect, this time providing for Alenis Vargas to score.

A handball inside the area allowed Teemu Pukki to draw HJK level once more from the penalty spot just after the hour mark, before the hosts looked to have won it four minutes from time, when Ayo Obileye turned the ball into his own net.

However, SJK conjured up an almighty turnaround in stoppage time - first, Armaan Wilson bundled the ball home from a corner in the 91st minute.

Then, with 96 minutes on the clock, SJK kept the ball alive following another corner which was only half-cleared, allowing Babacar Fati to thread a pass through to Olatoundji Tessilimi, who powered the winner past Henriksson as the near post.

10 points off the top in fifth place, the Helsinki side are yet to win in the Championship Group and will be officially out of the title race unless they better KuPS' result at the weekend.

Inter Turku are two points clear of SJK and now just one behind the Kuopio club after they came from behind to beat 10-man Gnistan 2-1.

Guaranteed to finish sixth, the visitors profited from their new-found freedom by taking the lead in just the third minute, when Tim Vayrynen's shot took a huge deflection and looped over goalkeeper Eetu Huuhtanen and into the net.

Yet despite having nothing to play for, Lucas von Hellens felt compelled to pull Jean Botue back and deny a clear goalscoring opportunity, and was shown a red card after just 16 minutes.

That moment of madness changed the game - Dimitri Legbo equalised 20 minutes later when a corner kick was diverted into his path and he lashed the ball into the roof of the net.

FC Inter were made to work for the three points despite the man advantage, and the winner came with just under 15 minutes to play, when Legbo dug out a cross that was perfect for the arriving Loic Essomba to bury with a cushioned volley.

It's two successive wins now for the Turku side who will be relishing a trip to HJK next, while Gnistan will look to improve on six defeats in their last seven when they face Ilves.
