The ninth round of Premier League fixtures is in the books, with plenty of super individual showings on record.

Arsenal continue to cruise at the top as they defeated Burnley 2-0 for a sixth straight league win, while Manchester City are attempting to stay in the conversation with a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Elsewhere, Liverpool snapped a run of four defeats in a row with a 2-0 win against Aston Villa and Chelsea ran out as comfortable 1-0 winners on their visit to Tottenham.

Here, Flashscore selects the latest Premier League Team of the Week, based on our player ratings system.

Goalkeeper

Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham) - 8.1

Guglielmo Vicario was the only Tottenham player to come away with any credit in their awful display against Chelsea.

The Italian was forced into making eight saves, which combined for a large total of 2.17 goals prevented as he helped keep the score down.

Defenders

Jan Paul van Hecke (Brighton) - 7.9

Brighton's Jan Paul van Hecke barely put a foot wrong in the Seagulls' straightforward 3-0 win over Leeds.

He completed the most passes of any player in the match (93) and won six duels and made five clearances.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest) - 7.8

Brazilian defender Murillo had his moments in Nottingham Forest's 2-2 draw with Manchester United.

Murillo made six interceptions, five clearances and a huge block towards the end of the game to grind out a point for Forest.

Gabriel (Arsenal) - 8.1

The imperious Gabriel continues to be in fine form as he forms part of a suffocating Arsenal defence which has kept seven straight clean sheets across all competitions.

He made his mark against Burnley, involving himself with Viktor Gyokeres' goal while also making nine clearances at the other end.

Midfielders

Harry Wilson (Fulham) - 8.4

Harry Wilson did his bit as Fulham rolled past Wolves 3-0 to compile more misery on the league's bottom-placed side.

The Wales international netted the Cottagers' second goal after bending an effort into the bottom corner.

Declan Rice (Arsenal) - 8.6

England's Declan Rice was absolutely everywhere in Arsenal's win at Burnley with a top, rounded showing.

Alongside winning five tackles and making four interceptions and clearances, Rice doubled the Gunners' lead in the first half with a well-placed header.

Granit Xhaka (Sunderland) - 8.4

Already one of the signings of the season, Granit Xhaka keeps showing his class as he impressed in Sunderland's 1-1 draw with Everton.

The Swiss midfielder netted his first goal for the club with a deflected effort to draw the Black Cats level.

Rayan Cherki (Manchester City) - 8.4

Rayan Cherki gave a glimpse into why Manchester City signed him with his performance in their win over Bournemouth.

He assisted both of Erling Haaland's goals at the Etihad Stadium and played with a smooth flow with some deft touches.

Diego Gomez (Brighton) - 9.3

Brighton's Diego Gomez stood out with two quick goals to secure their victory against Leeds.

The Paraguay international's first was a simple poke into the net, while his second was a composed strike into the bottom corner.

Gomez's 9.3 Flashscore rating was the highest of any player across the weekend.

Forwards

Viktor Gyokeres (Arsenal) - 8.7

Viktor Gyokeres ended a five-game goal drought in the league with an instinctive header against Burnley.

The Swede created two big chances and had some nice link-up play before being replaced at half-time after taking an elbow to the face.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City) - 8.2

Nothing more can be said about Erling Haaland, who keeps churning out the goals for Manchester City at a crazy rate.

He was a major threat against Bournemouth, particularly in the first half when he scored two goals and linked excellently with his teammates.
