Jude Bellingham reportedly asked to be left out of England’s latest squad after being unexpectedly dropped Thomas Tuchel ahead of the October international break.
The 22-year-old was a surprise exclusion from Tuchel’s squad for England's friendly against Wales and subsequent World Cup qualifier away at Latvia.
Now, according to Spanish outlet Marca, Bellingham asked Tuchel to be left out of the squad this time around rather than the other way around.
Bellingham, who has only just returned from injury, is understood to have felt some discomfort during Real Madrid’s 5-2 La Liga defeat to Atletico last week.
After realising he still wasn’t 100 per cent, he requested to be left out so he could work on returning to full fitness.
