GK: Daniel Bielica (NAC Breda) - 7.7
Bielica was only one of four goalkeepers to keep a clean sheet this past weekend - his first of the season - and recorded five saves in NAC's 0-0 draw away at FC Groningen. The Pole in goal prevented a total xG of 1.40 en route to NAC's first point away from home since October.
DEF: Jordan Bos (Feyenoord) - 7.9
Jordan Bos has been an excellent addition to Feyenoord's lineup since joining from Belgian outfit Westerlo last summer. The Aussie recorded his sixth goal contribution of the season in Feyenoord's 2-2 draw with sc Heerenveen, assisting Sem Steijn's 2-1 on the cusp of halftime with a back-post cross.
Furthermore, Bos completed four of five dribbles, completed 41 of 50 passes, and won 9 of 16 duels.
DEF: Youri Baas (Ajax) - 8.3
Youri Baas had an afternoon like no other. The young defender assisted Mika Godts' 2-0, scored the 3-0, and scored an own goal just five minutes later. The latter didn't matter much in the end, with Ajax beating Telstar 3-2 in Velsen-Zuid.
Besides his goal contributions, Baas was impeccable on and off the ball, with a pass accuracy of 100% (78/78) and nine clearances.
DEF: Rio Hillen (NAC Breda) - 7.9
22-year-old Rio Hillen was a rock in defence for NAC in their 0-0 draw with FC Groningen. The centre-half recorded 13 clearances, won two tackles, and was dominant in his duels, winning 11 of 12, of which all six of his aerial duels.
DEF: Mateo Chavez (AZ) - 8.4
The young Mexican hasn't been assured of a place in the starting XI, but showed what he's made of against FC Volendam. The left-back won 12 of 15 ground duels and completed 15 of 20 passes in the final third. Chavez recorded an xA (expected assists) of 0.56 from 78 touches, putting his name firmly in contention for more starts in the future.
MID: Joey Veerman (PSV) - 8.0
You didn't really think we'd start off 2026 without Joey Veerman occupying a midfield spot in the Team of the Week, would you?
Reigning champions PSV beat Excelsior 5-1, and for the fifth time in six games, Veerman was involved in a goal, this time by assisting Ryan Flamingo's 4-0 with another perfect corner. In total, Veerman created four chances, won possession eight times, and won all three of his attempted tackles.
MID: Daouda Weidmann (FC Twente) - 7.7
Daouda Weidmann was forced to be patient after moving from RKC Waalwijk to FC Twente due to an injury, but the young Frenchman is now making the most of this opportunity. Against PEC Zwolle, Weidmann took a game-high four shots, recorded two interceptions, and won six duels in his first start since September.
MID: Julian Baas (Sparta Rotterdam) - 7.9
Julian Baas had a lengthy cameo against Heracles, replacing the injured Vito van Crooij after just 28 minutes. The midfielder played an excellent game afterwards, though, completing 23 of 26 passes, winning four duels and three interceptions, and creating three chances in his team's 2-0 win on Sunday.
FW: Mathis Suray (Go Ahead Eagles) - 8.3
Not many players have played as active a game as Mathis Suray's against Fortuna Sittard. The young Belgian took as many as seven attempts at goal, beating Matthijs Branderhorst with two of them, thus accounting for both of Go Ahead Eagles' goals.
His attempts were efficient, too - five of his seven were on target, generating a total xG of 1.1.
FW: Tobias Lauritsen (Sparta Rotterdam) - 8.7 (Player of the Week)
Tobias Lauritsen has proven to be Sparta's talisman in recent years, and the big Norwegian striker did it again in his side's 2-0 win over Heracles Almelo. Lauritsen scored Sparta's 1-0, assisted Pelle Clement's 2-0, and recorded a load of impressive statistics.
The striker created a game-high five chances, won 7 of 11 duels, and recorded 11 touches in the opposition's box. A dominant display from our Player of the Week.
FW: Dennis Man (PSV) - 8.3
Romanian starlet Dennis Man has come in clutch for PSV just when they needed him. The former Parma winger is making every PSV fan forget that €16-million man Ruben van Bommel has missed so much time, and did so again against Excelsior.
Man completed a staggering seven dribbles - the second-highest mark of the Eredivisie season - and recorded a game-high 10 touches in the opposition's box. His 16 duels, of which he won 10, were also a game-high mark. As the cherry on top, Man assisted Paul Wanner's opening goal and scored the 5-1 himself after slicing through the heart of the Excelsior defence.
