GK: Tom de Graaff (PEC Zwolle) - 8.7

Despite a 2-2 draw in Groningen, PEC stopper Tom de Graaff played an excellent game at the Euroborg. The 20-year-old, who made his Netherlands U21 debut during the last international break, recorded 12 saves for PEC, who squandered a 2-1 lead in the 90th minute.

DEF: Bart Nieuwkoop (Feyenoord) - 8.2

It wasn't the prettiest game, nor was it a great evening overall for Feyenoord, who lost 4-2 at home to NEC and saw PSV take a 6-point lead at the top of the Eredivisie. The ever dependable Bart Nieuwkoop was a highlight for the home side, however, with his excellent goal, five won tackles, two interceptions, and 10 won duels.

DEF: Rick Meissen (Excelsior) - 8.2

Rick Meissen proved crucial to Excelsior's historic win over Ajax. The Rotterdam outfit shocked the Eredivisie by beating Ajax 2-1 in the Johan Cruyff ArenA, and centre-half Meissen played a sizeable part in this fairytale win.

Meissen got the assist for Noah Naujoks' first-half opener and was a defensive machine for Excelsior, recording 13 clearances, three interceptions, a won tackle, and six won possessions on Saturday evening.

DEF: Damon Mirani (Heracles) - 8.7

Captain Damon Mirani led by example in Heracles' 4-2 win over Go Ahead Eagles, first scoring the opener in the 10th minute and following that up with a quality equaliser in the 51st, powerfully heading in a sailing cross from Walid Ould Chikh.

Furthermore, Mirani completed 48 of 50 passes, won three of his four duels, and cleared the ball on five occasions in Heracles' third-straight Eredivisie victory.

MID: Noah Naujoks (Excelsior) - 8.7

When you score the two goals that earn your team their first-ever win at the home of the record champions, you'll undoubtedly make it into our Team of the Week.

Noah Naujoks was the mastermind behind Excelsior's major upset in Amsterdam. A brave dribble through the heart of Ajax's defence ended with the midfielder scoring Excelsior's opener, after which he doubled the Rotterdam outfit's lead with a simple finish from up close.

The goals were the highlight of his game, which included a game-high 15 duels (6 won), two successful dribbles, and two possessions won in the final third.

MID: Luuk Brouwers (Heerenveen) - 8.7

As with Damon Mirani, Luuk Brouwers led his team by example during Heerenveen's 3-1 win over UEFA Conference League outfit AZ. The captain assisted Dylan Vente after a beautiful team move that was orchestrated by midfield partner Joris van Overeem, after which Brouwer put the exclamation point on a terrific game from Heerenveen with a thunderous effort from distance.

Heerenveen had a terrible start to the season, but turned their fortune around and are now unbeaten in six of their last seven Eredivisie outings - a good omen for the meeting with PSV on December 6th.

MID: Joris van Overeem (Heerenveen) - 8.1

As mentioned earlier, Van Overeem played a massive part in Heerenveen's opener, setting it up with a lovely lofted pass and eventually providing the pre-assist with a pinpoint deep ball in the box. Van Overeem, who returned to the Netherlands last summer after spending three years abroad, rewarded himself once more when he himself finished a solid team move by scoring the 2-0 just two minutes after his delightful playmaking for the 1-0.

Brouwers and Van Overeem pulled the strings in midfield, with the duo collectively winning 14 of 21 duels and seven of nine total tackles. Van Overeem himself won possession a staggering 10 times, created two chances, and completed a game-high 19 passes in the final third.

MID: Basar Onal (NEC) - 8.5

The young Turkish-Dutch Basar Onal played a quiet first half against Feyenoord, but came to life after the break and left a lasting impact on NEC's first win away at Feyenoord since 2011.

Onal provided a constant threat from NEC's left wing, firing three shots on target and creating six chances - the second-highest total in a single Eredivisie game this season. Onal's two assists were vital in NEC's comeback win, providing perfect crosses for Noe Lebreton and Kento Shiogai to head in the 2-2 and 3-2 in the final twenty minutes of the game.

FW: Luka Kulenovic (Heracles) - 8.5

As well as Mirani, Luka Kulenovic brought a much-needed spark to Heracles in recent weeks. The Almere outfit was on their way to having one of the worst seasons in Eredivisie history, but turned their fate around after manager Bas Sibum was sacked.

Heracles have now won three Eredivisie games on the spin, and Bosnian forward Kulenovic played a massive part in that success. After two goals and one assist in his last two games, Kulenovic assisted two of Heracles' four goals and added a goal to his total in the final minutes of the game.

FW: Guus Til (PSV) - 8.9 (Player of the Week)

It was a tight win for PSV, but another good day for Guus Til, who followed up his hat-trick against AZ with the golden goal away at NAC Breda.

In PSV's 1-0 win, Til won eight duels, recorded a game-high seven clearances, and scored the only goal, keeping PSV on top for at least one more week. It's also earned Til his second consecutive Player of the Week award. Some weeks for Guus.

FW: Kento Shiogai (NEC) - 8.6

Sunday wasn't the first time that Kento Shiogai established himself as one of the best impact substitutes in the league. After a standout cameo away at Heracles, where the Japanese forward scored two goals in NEC's 4-1 win, Shiogai closed out the game away at Feyenoord with two brilliant goals, the latter of which was an absolute pearler.

With Feyenoord bringing all the pressure in the final minutes of the game, NEC escaped from their half after Chery launched the ball forward to Kodai Sano. The Japanese midfield found his compatriot in the centre circle, from where Shiogai simply let it rip and fired the ball past Timon Wellenreuther for a brilliant ending to a likewise match.
