Serie A outfit AS Roma continue to shop in the Dutch Eredivisie as FC Twente left-back Anass Salah-Eddine (23) has officially moved to the Italian capital, the club announced.
The Dutch defender skipped Sunday's Eredivisie game against Go Ahead Eagles shortly after arriving at the opponents' stadium due to "not feeling mentally prepared" amidst transfer talks.
AS Roma reportedly pay a transfer fee of €8 million excluding €2 million in add-ons to the fourth-placed Eredivisie side. Ajax will receive 10% of the total fee due to a sell-on clause.
The 23-year-old Ajax academy product left the Amsterdam-based club on loan in 2023 to FC Twente before completing a permanent move one year later for a fee of €1 million.
With this move, AS Roma have acquired a second player from the Dutch Eredivisie after the Giallarossi added Ajax full-back Devyne Rensch to their ranks on January 23rd.
