Goalkeeper
Mark Flekken (Bayer Leverkusen) 8.8
Leverkusen pulled off a surprise win at Manchester City, and the Dutch goalkeeper played a huge part, keeping a clean sheet despite facing nine shots. He managed to deal with every one of them. Including the weekend Bundesliga match against Wolfsburg, he has conceded just once from the last 19 shots faced.
Defence
Jose Maria Gimenez (Atletico Madrid) 8.2
Just when it looked like Atletico and Inter would share the points, the Uruguayan centre-back decided the match in stoppage time, scoring his first goal since September 19th, 2024. The Spanish club picked up their third win of this Champions League campaign, while the Italian side suffered their first defeat.
Willian Pacho (PSG) 8.4
The Ecuadorian centre-back has become a key figure in PSG’s defence, with coach Luis Enrique able to rely on his work at the back.
Going forward, however, Pacho hadn't been much of a threat in the past as he had never scored at senior level until this season. His goal against Tottenham on Wednesday was already his second in this Champions League campaign.
Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal) 8.2
He only came on in the 68th minute, but just 76 seconds later he set up Noni Madueke for the winning goal against Bayern. The Italian defender also had a shot on target, completed all his passes, and didn’t lose a single duel.
Midfield
Charles De Ketelaere (Atalanta) 9.2
The Belgian attacking midfielder was the central figure in Atalanta’s comfortable win at Frankfurt, scoring one of the Italian side’s three goals and assisting another. De Ketelaere had two shots, completed five dribbles, and touched the ball 10 times inside the opposition box.
Except for his time with Porto’s reserves, he had never scored more than once in a match in his career. But on Wednesday, Vitinha broke loose, netting a hat-trick to secure PSG’s thrilling 5-3 win over Tottenham. His first goal, a long-range strike late in the first half, was especially impressive.

Scott McTominay (Napoli) 8.6
McTominay played as a striker in his youth before being converted to a midfielder. Whoever made that decision may have deprived the world of a great finisher.
Just last week, the Scot scored a spectacular overhead kick for his national team, and he’s carried that form into his club. His goal secured Napoli’s win, and his play also led to a Qarabag own goal.
Robert (Copenhagen) 8.8
The 20-year-old Brazilian attacker could become a hot commodity on the transfer market, especially if he keeps performing like he did on Wednesday against Kairat.
A goal and an assist highlighted his excellent display, which also included six shots, the same number of successful dribbles, and nine touches inside the opposition penalty area.
Attack
Kenan Yildiz (Juventus) 8.5
The Turkish youngster once again showed why he’s one of Juventus’ key players. Coming on at the start of the second half, he changed the course of the match, in which Bodo/Glimt were close to earning a point.
Yildiz was involved in David’s winning goal and also managed four shots, five successful dribbles, and 11 touches in the opposition box.
Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid) 9.4
He completed his hat-trick in just six minutes and 42 seconds, the second-fastest in Champions League history. After the break, Mbappe added a fourth, making him the competition’s top scorer with nine goals. In total, he now has 64 Champions League goals and ranks fifth all-time in the competition’s scoring charts.
Only Lewandowski, Messi, and Ronaldo have more hat-tricks in the competition. Across all competitions for club and country this season, the Frenchman has already scored 27 goals and provided six assists.

Couhaib Driouech (PSV Eindhoven) 8.9
Whatever is happening at Liverpool doesn’t concern the Moroccan winger. He came on at Anfield in the 69th minute, replacing the injured Ivan Perisic, but that didn’t stop him from scoring twice and helping to complete the demolition of the Reds. For the previously little-known 23-year-old, it was the cameo of his life.
