Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua checked into a rehab facility, according to his attorney Levi McCathern.

McCathern cleared the air first, stating that Nacua had checked into rehab before the ongoing lawsuit against him was filed. Nacua was accused of an anti-semetic slur and biting the victim's shoulder.

He had also previously made an anti-Semitic gesture on a livestream that he later apologized for.

"He was in rehab a substantial period of time before any of these allegations broke ... and he's scheduled to be there for a while longer," said McCathern.

Nacua is coming off a career year after putting up 1,820 total yards (1,715 receiving) with 11 total touchdowns (10 receiving). He led the NFL with 129 receptions, 80 first downs, and 107.2 receiving yards per game, finishing just behind Seattle's Jaxon Smith-Njigba in receiving yards (1,793).

In just three seasons, Nacua is already a two-time All-Pro, earning First-Team honors after this past season and Second-Team honors during his rookie campaign in 2023.

The former fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft has established himself as an elite receiver in the NFL and is still on his rookie contract heading into the 2026 season. When asked about signing Nacua to a big-time contract that Smith-Njigba received this offseason, Rams general manager Les Snead said, "Right now, we're just focused on the human being and then we'll get to that step."
