Leclerc's 'words of wisdom'
It took just one race for the Formula 1 season to spring up a viral radio moment and it was courtesy of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.
Leclerc and Ferrari were having a testing Australian Grand Prix and it was made more tricky when the Monegasque discovered water in his cockpit.
He radioed Bryan Bozzi about the problem mid-race and it resulted in a comical exchange with fans poking fun at Bryan Bozzi's 'state-the-obvious' response.
Leclerc: "I have the seat full of water. Like, full of water."
Bozzi: "Must be the water."
Leclerc: "Let's add that to the words of wisdom."
Ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix, Leclerc later clarified the conversation as an "inside joke".
Wolff: 'It's your looks!'
Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli could not believe his luck when he was voted Driver of the Day for his performance during the Chinese Grand Prix.
The then-18-year-old finished in eighth place, but was bumped up to sixth after some disqualifications handed to Lewis Hamilton and Leclerc.
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff radioed his congratulations to a confused Antonelli, with the Austrian jokingly putting the fan vote down to his and race engineer Peter 'Bono' Bonnington's looks.
Wolff: "Kimi, Driver of the Day, we just saw on the screen."
Antonelli: "Me? Yeah, that's weird."
Wolff: "I think it's your looks and your target group... and obviously the looks of your race engineer also."
Bortoleto: 'I will put him in the wall'
Sauber's Gabriel Bortoleto was not afraid to show his anger after clashing with Antonelli on the first lap of the Monaco Grand Prix.
Bortoleto passed Antonelli at the hairpin, but the Mercedes driver then made a move on the inside at Portier, getting back in front and causing the Brazilian to hit the wall.
Bortoleto was told by race engineer Jose Manuel Lopez that there was no penalty awarded to Antonelli, so he sarcastically replied he would "put him in the wall next time" punishment-free.
Bortoleto: "Did he get a penalty for what he did?"
Lopez: "He did not get a penalty."
Bortoleto: "Okay. I will put him in the wall next time."
Russell fumes over Verstappen collision
Drama ensued during the Spanish Grand Prix when Max Verstappen appeared to deliberately drive his Red Bull into George Russell's Mercedes.
It came after the pair went wheel-to-wheel at Turn One, with Verstappen running off track and rejoined back ahead of Russell.
He was told to give the position back, which he was reluctant to do, and ended up accelerating and hitting the side of Russell's car, landing him an eventual 10-second penalty.
Russell, of course, was less than impressed at the time.
Russell: "What the f***? He just crashed into me."
Piastri tirade at former team Alpine
Oscar Piastri could not conceal his annoyance at Alpine's drivers towards the end of the Austrian Grand Prix.
Chasing down McLaren teammate Lando Norris towards the race's latter stages, the Australian was caught in traffic, a hindrance to his charge.
Piastri first attempted to lap Franco Colapinto, who was battling Yuki Tsunoda, but he was squeezed onto the grass with the Alpine driver unaware of his presence.
Two laps later, he was then blocked by the other Alpine of Pierre Gasly into Turn One, causing him to vent his frustrations, making reference to his past contract saga with the Enstone team.
Piastri: "Alpine still managed to find a way to f*** me over all these years later, huh?"
Hulkenberg's Silverstone 'masterclass'
Nico Hulkenberg has been a nearly-man in Formula 1 for 15 years, never managing a podium in 238 race starts.
But that all changed at Silverstone in a wet-dry British Grand Prix, which threw the script away.
Sauber's Hulkenberg started all the way back in 19th, but a series of overrules over tyre strategies catapulted him up to third.
The charging Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton was chasing him down in the closing stages, but he held onto his position, prompting a radio exchange with team principal Jonathan Wheatley that tugs at the heartstrings.
Hulkenberg: "I don't think I can comprehend what we've just done. Oh my god."
Wheatley: "Absolute masterclass today. This has been the most overdue podium in Formula 1 history. Absolutely fantastic job."
Sainz's 'first smooth operation' at Williams
The self-proclaimed 'Smooth Operator' Carlos Sainz was overjoyed with his first podium with Williams at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, calling it the best of his career so far.
The Spaniard qualified in second and delivered on race day in Baku, coming home in third to complete the top three.
Sainz is a four-time race winner, but was beaming with his display and vowed to bring more for Williams.
Sainz: "Vamos! Best podium in my career, guys. You cannot imagine how this tastes. Thank you so much. This is my first 'Smooth Operation' in Williams... and not the last!"
Alonso: 'I will disconnect the radio!'
Formula 1 veteran Fernando Alonso has been no stranger to creating golden moments over the radio across his storied career.
The 44-year-old Aston Martin driver has been known to be witty and snappy on comms, especially when he is engaged in battle during races.
Fans will be well aware of the memorable quote bank he produced during a frustrating spell at McLaren, which included his iconic "no more radio for the rest of the race" order in Belgium in 2017.
Well, Alonso was keen to be left alone by his Aston Martin colleagues after a slow pit stop during the Singapore Grand Prix.
But after receiving an update that 34 laps remained in the race, Alonso seemingly had enough and threatened to disconnect the radio in annoyance.
Alonso: "If you speak to me every lap, I will disconnect the radio."
Norris: 'You made a kid's dream come true'
It would be wrong not to end with a tearful Lando Norris, who became Formula 1's new world champion at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The title fight went down to the wire with Norris clashing with Red Bull's Max Verstappen and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri, but third place was enough for him to get over the line by just two points.
Norris has spent his entire career at McLaren, and the emotions overcame him at the finish as he reacted to his maiden world championship crown with team boss Zak Brown.
Brown: "Lando, this is Zak from McLaren. Is this the world champion hotline? We did it! We did it!"
Norris: "Oh, s***! You made a kid's dream come true. I love you guys. You deserve it. I love you, Mum. I love you, Dad. Thanks for everything. I'm not crying."
