It's a third three-goal success for Frolunda since losing out to Rogle in the top-of-the-table clash on Tuesday, but they had to work for this one as Per Aslund put Farjestad ahead after nine minutes in Gothenburg.
It took another nine minutes for the home side to level matters through Ivar Stenberg's powerplay goal, before Isac Heens completed the turnaround just past the midpoint in the match.
The result still hung in the balance until the final two minutes, when pulling the goaltender backfired not once, but twice on Farjestad, as Filip Cederqvist and Max Lindholm took advantage with empty-netters to round off a 4-1 win.
It's a 14th victory from 17 for Frolunda, who still are to have a game go to overtime, while Farjestad drop to seventh with two defeats in three.
Even with the win, Frolunda would have been surprised to see themselves back on top of the table, as Rogle were expected to record a seventh-straight win, only for the Angelholm side to be on the wrong end of a 2-0 loss to Leksand, who remain outside the Playoff places.
After two goalless periods, Nolan Stevens made the shock result possible when he broke the deadlock in the ninth minute of the third, before Peter Cehlarik wrapped things up with an empty-net goal late on. It's a second shutout in three for Jakob Hellsten, who recorded 31 saves.
Jacob Johansson was called upon to make a mere 16 saves as his Timra side ended HV 71's two-match winning run comprehensively, running out 5-0 winners to climb to sixth. They stay one place and three points behind Djurgarden, who returned to winning ways with a 4-2 win over Brynas.
Champions Lulea lost a third match running and further ground on the top six as they were beaten 3-1 by Malmo, who put daylight between themselves and the bottom two by winning for the first time in nine matches.
Late goals got Vaxjo over the line to beat bottom side Linkoping 5-3 and end two games without a win, while Orebro also scored late at home to take Skelleftea to overtime, but after no goals in the extra period, the visitors took victory in the shootout and win 4-3 to stay in third place.
