The big news from Old Trafford is that new manager Michael Carrick has put his stamp on Man Utd by picking a back four, bringing in AFCON returnees Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo, and sticking with Kobbie Mainoo in midfield.

For City, Pep Guardiola has had to continue with a very young centre-back pairing of Max Alleyne and Abdukodir Khusanov. New signing Antoine Semenyo starts once again.
