Seattle Mariners All-Star catcher Cal Raleigh became the first MLB player of the season to reach the 100 RBI mark.

Raleigh achieved the feat after blasting his 46th home run of the year during Friday's game against the New York Mets

He leads the league in both home runs and RBI, needing just three more homers to pass Salvador Perez (Kansas City Royals) for the most in a single season by a catcher.

In 2024, Raleigh finished with exactly 100 RBI. Now he has 39 regular-season games left to go even further beyond that.

Earlier this season, Raleigh also became the first player to reach 40 home runs (watch here)and just the seventh catcher in MLB history to reach that mark.

Raleigh continues his American League MVP campaign, breaking multiple records along the way. Earlier in the year, Raleigh broke the record for most home runs by a catcher before the All-Star break this season, beating out the legend Johnny Bench, while surpassing Griffey Jr. for most in Mariners history before the break.

Now, he surpassed Bench yet again.

Heading into Friday's matchup against the Mets, Raleigh had been slashing .243/.350/.582 on the year with 45 home runs, 98 RBI, and 13 stolen bases.
