Ohio State quarterback and former five-star recruit Air Noland (19) announced on Monday that he will be entering the transfer portal.

Nolan originally committed to Ohio State over Alabama and Miami (FL) when coming out of high school. But after one season as Will Howard's backup, the former top-five-ranked quarterback of the 2024 class is looking to play elsewhere with all four years of eligibility remaining.

Devin Brown will serve as Ohio State's backup during the team's upcoming College Football Playoff matchup against Tennessee but will also be entering the portal once the season is over.

Transfer Julian Sayin and Tavien St. Clair, five-star and third-ranked recruit in the 2025 class, will be competing for the starting spot next season in a crowded quarterback room.

The need for a former five-star quarterback will bring in many offers for Noland. Former quarterback transfer Joe Burrow landed in LSU and led a Tigers team, one that some consider the greatest ever, to a National Championship.
